Swissvita Skincare Product Review
For the past few months I’ve been seeing the name “Swissvita” appearing on my Facebook and Instagra. Also, I saw quite a few of my friends are using this brand. So, I got curious….
Swissvita believes in natural beauty by using nature’s best-kept ingredients to deliver skin that is clearer, brighter and beautiful. The key element in their products is an ingredient named AC-11Ⓡ, a safe plant-base and water-soluble plant extract that can only be found in the Amazon Rainforest and clinically proven to:
1. Repair your DNA
2. Reduce skin damage from skin and daily life activities
2. Double the production of Collagen 3 to help you have younger looking skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots and fine lines
My curiosity got satisfied when I received a package from All Young containing 3 products of Swissvita.
Swissvita Mandelic Acid Perfect Ratio Complex Serum (RM 110). The serum is said to tighten large pores, promote metabolism of skin cells, brighten up the skin and is a mild yet effective exfoliate for the skin.
Seeing the name “Mandelic Acid”, many of us would be worry how would our skin react to the serum. So, let us take a look at the ingredients:
1. Almond Acid
Mild to the skin, low irritation, gently remove dead skin cells, increase skin metabolism and target large pores.
2. Malic Acid
Contain anti-oxidant, soften the skin and speed up skin renewal, ideal in repairing sensitive skin.
3. Citric Acid
Effectively enhance skin moisture and softness.
The serum comes in a glass bottle (so be very careful not to drop it…) with a dropper tool, which I find to be very useful in controlling the amount of serum you need.
As per the instruction, I applied the serum after cleansing my skin and followed by toner. The serum has a clear and watery consistency, and I like how light it felt on my skin. Surprisingly, my skin reacted very well to the serum. I didn’t feel any tingling sensation, neither I have and breakouts after using the serum. Instead, the serum got absorbed into the skin very fast without leaving any sticky residue or oiliness, and my skin felt much supple after that!
Honestly, I was very tempted to apply the serum daily, but it is advisable to only apply it 2-3 times a week.
Swissvita Micrite 3D All Use Whitening Serum (RM 130). The whitening serum is designed for Asian skin and it can delays skin aging process, repairs and brightens the skin. The serum is formulated to penetrate deeply into the skin, targeting dark and damaged areas. Despite its powerful effect in treating pigmentations and dark spots, the whitening serum is also gentle on the skin and suitable for all skin types.
The whitening serum comes in a tube with a red safety ring. Take of the lid, bottle cap and red safety ring then re-tighten the bottle cap to open. A sharp point in the cap will poke open into the foil.
The whitening serum is semi-milky and has slightly thicker texture. I applied the whitening serum both day and night after my toner. Though I’ve yet to see any whitening results, I like how light the felt on my skin. Another plus point, the serum is fragrance-free!
Swissvita Micrite 3D All Use Anti-Spot Serum (RM 130). When I first got it, I was wondering what is the difference between this anti-spot serum and whitening serum. I did some research and realized both of the products have the same benefits and ingredients. The only difference is the anti-spot serum contains Vitamin C.
The anti-spot serum comes in a same packaging as the whitening serum. I used the anti-spot serum both day and night on the areas where I have pigmentation and dark spots. Since I only use it on targeted areas, I only use a small amount of the serum. So far, I don’t really see any effect of the serum. But I guess it needs longer period of time to truly see the results.
